Question Upgrading cages

I'm going to upgrade my lots cages because the things they're in are only temporary accommodation really. Anyways, I was going to use a rabbit cage 100cm probably but I'll get a 120+ one if I can afford it. I know the bar spacing is too big. What mesh do I use? What spacing ect. I've found this in Amazon and I'm not sure if it's the right type? Has anyone else managed to convert a rabbit cage? Can I see pics?

Here's the mesh I've found:
Floralcraft Chicken Wire 5m x 0.6m Galvanized Wire Netting with 13mm Mesh https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N339H..._kiPvEbZRHX6BG

I meshed the top of my ZooZone2 to use it for my dwarf. I also used mesh to make a bin carrier.

I used a mesh more similar to this. The square shape is actually smaller than the hexagons in chicken wire. I'm sure you could use it but you may want to take a look at some in person just to be sure on the sizing.

I'll have a look. My nearest Wilko's is over an hour away, intact it's been so long since I've been there I don't know if it's still open.

I've recently meshed the top of someone's zoozone2 and used the mesh i use for the bin cages i make. It's the 0.5in squares galvanised mesh fom B&Q or Wilko. B&Q sells it in a roll for £10 or a sheet for £6 and Wilko sells a small 1.5m roll for £4.
You'll need a wire cutter and cable ties to attach it.

Hi,
I meshed my bin cage with galvanized garden mesh from 'The Range' - they do different sized mesh in sheets of 91cm x 61xm for £3.99. I went for the 0.6cm gaps for my dwarf - been really good so far.

Ok I'll have a look when I go off anywhere. Would I mesh the inside of the cage or the outside?

It's safer and easier to mesh the outside and have the cable ties closures facing the outside as well.

Ugh pricing up is showing it to be out of budget at the moment so going to have to think of a plan B.
