There doesn't seem much between them really but both may be a little on the small size for a Syrian ham, I have the 145L Really useful box for one of my Chinese & I imagine anything smaller would be a b it cramped with Syrian sized wheel, house toys etc.

I think cypher is right about them being too small. Especially since the dimensions given would be external not internal.

I have a dwarf living in a 133l xmas tree storage box and she seems fine in that but gets regular time out from her cage to run around.
I wouldn't put a Syrian in it though because their things are so much larger and need more space.
I have converted the 145l really useful box for a Syrian before which works fine because this particular box doesn't slope as much as some other boxes.
My Syrian lives in the Alaska cage from Zooplus which at just over £30 incl delivery works out cheaper.
For a bin cage you'll need to buy mesh and cable ties and decorative tape (optional) to mesh the lid and a front window. If you have the tools and basic DIY skills that's easily done and then the 145l rub would be an option but at £35 for the box alone not a cheap one.

I can’t see the dimensions- only that it says 133 litre but agree with the others. Hard to find a bin cage that’s a suitable size for a Syrian other than the 143 litre rub bin because it’s a good depth- about 82 x 60 external. And the Alaska cage is cheaper! And a good size for a Syrian. Have a look on Zooplus.

I have the b and q one and it is very good
so i personally would say that one plus you can easily just go and pick it up so you wont have to pay for delivery
but i do have a dwarf hamster so

Thank you, if I did a double decker one would that be better? Any suggestions on safe tubes that they won't get stuck in?

Not ideal, but side by side would be better, rather than going up.

It’s not quite the same as one larger space to the hamster and they may not use the add on bin much for that reason. It also means they have to use the tube whether they want to or not, if wheel is in one and food in the other. So they don’t quite get the ability to have the one habitat if that makes sense. If you put the wheel, food, water and house all in one bin then they probably wouldn’t bother to use the other one as those are the things they like to have in their environment. Tubes can be an escape route as well.

Some people also find the space it takes for two dude by side cages is quite difficult to manage and actually easier to have one bigger cage that takes up less space!

If you prefer a bin to a barred cage I would get the really useful box 143 litre If it’s more about cost I would get the Alaska cage- better for the hamster - costs about £32.
