I have the Kaze box for a roborovski dwarf (the smallest species) and it feels like a good size, It could definitely be bigger though, even for my robo. I was even thinking about getting one so I could finally get a syrian but decided against it as I know that I wouldn't personally be happy keeping a syrian in one. Different people may say different things but at the end of the day I wouldn't keep a syrian in the Kaze box.

Well I did it 😊 2 kaze boxes side by side, it turned out a good size, it took a couple of days of hard work to make, I'll try and attach pics (if I can work it out). Ok will upload later as my photos need resizing so I'll take them again with less megapixels and see if that works,

Oh! I'm really impressed with your skills. How exactly did you join the two boxes together? Lovely set up too. What a great idea to use a wood tunnel turned on its side as a shelter for the sandbath. Excellent job and your hamster will be very happy in his home.

Thank you

I used the solder iron to weld the side together with spare bits of plastic, and then I bolted extra plastic to the outside. Hope that makes sense.

The tunnel is an extra shelter so she feels safer when going to the toilet or bathing

Her name is peach and taming is slow (pet shop hamster) she will let me pet her when she is eating, take seeds from me, doing bath tub taming at the moment, I can pick her up when she tries to climb the side of the tub and place her in my hand and stroke her, but she doesn't stay long.( 5-10secs max) before she wants down again, Is this as good as it gets for taming? Not sure what to expect really as I had dwarfs when I was younger so first time owning a Syrian hamster.
