Pets at home pet exercise wheel, Savic rolly wheel medium
Has anyone tried p@h pet exercise wheel that looks like comfort wheel? Really like the clear transparent one would like to get it for my little robo. Is small fine for robo? And they don’t come with a stand anymore, any suggestion where to look for one? I have a bin cage and not really able to drill a hole for it at the moment.
Found a similar one savic rolly wheel, medium is the smallest I could see, but everyone has been complaining it to be noisy.
How noisy is both p@h exercise wheel and a savic rolly wheel medium?

If you’re choosing between p@h wheels, I’d go with the medium silent spinner over the others, they’re much quieter and better quality than the other wheels which tend to squeak and rattle. If you don’t mind ordering online, I really like the wooden trixie wheels from Zooplus.
Regardless of which wheel you choose, you’ll need one between 16 and 21cm. While some robos can run with a straight back on the smaller wheels, the larger ones are more comfortable.

I observed for quite some times at p@h their silent spinner tends to have a gap at the middle of the rim part where it connects (if you understand me), so I was looking for a solid one to replace. My robo does pee in sand bath and toilet both but sometimes pee in the wheel too! So I was taking off wooden wheels off my list. Unless I have anything that makes it easier to clean the pee off.

Plastikote! The brush-on kind is non-toxic and safe for hamsters, a lot of people use it to seal the wood for easy cleaning.

Safe for hamster just in case he decide to chew on it? Does it make the wheel water proof?

I know what you mean by the gap where it connects. The Kaytee silent spinner doesn't have so much of a gap.
My robo also pees in his wheel so i like to be able to wash it.
You are in Bristol which is just down the M4 from Swindon. Paradise Pets does a good 7in plastic wheel with a solid, wide running surface and a good stand but can also be attached to bars.

How do I do it? Use a brush apply it on a leave dry? How long it takes to dry? How many layers required? Can I only use clear plastikote or coloured one are fine as well?
