Don’t worry - I probably got the ideas from YouTube in the first place! Can’t remember. Feel free xxx

I have worked on Star's cage a bit.
I think I might add some chew mats on the back part, to the right of the wheel and maybe on the right, just so it feels a bit more enclosed in for Star and make her feel safe. I noticed this morning she has buried herself in her house and shut the front door so to speak (shes blocked the front door off)!
I think she only does this when she wants to feel safe, I once moved her house and she did it then, so I moved her house back to where it is now and she stopped doing it.
I could also move the cork log slightly and put the bendy bridge in front of her house door.
I also need to put something under the water bottles so they don't drip on the roof of her house and make it all soggy. (just got thick cardboard as a temporary measure)
I still want to add a mat on the roof and I need to work on the left hand side a little bit, but I ran out of energy.
But at least I made a start. Thanks so much serendipity for the inspiration.

I'm sure she'll love that. Ours have sometimes started blocking up the door when it gets colder. But putting the bendy bridge over the door sounds like an idea as well.

I use one of the granite tiles from rodipet under the water bottle. They're not that expensive but the postage makes them more expensive. It works well as it's rough granite so it soaks up any drips (and helps keep nails short . Or a terracotta plant pot base would do the same thing.

Thanks Serendipity, I finally managed to get the cage finished off last week so all easy access now. I added mats to the ceiling and the sides so she doesn;t feel too exposed. I have some tiles I can use under the water, I will have to fish them out the garage, to be honest they are not dripping too much so far. I was thinking of getting her something cosy to sit in too.. would have to monitor to make sure she didn't chew..

Thanks again for your advice in this matter, you were a big help.

I'm sure she'll be very happy with it Attaching mats to the ceiling is a great idea - I hadn't thought of that. I wanted to make sure that the top bars couldn't be climbed along as well - especially over anything hard like a bendy bridge (just in case he scaled the bars at night and climbed along the roof! Which was unlikely but just a thought.

Star has never climbed bars so I didn't have that worry.
