Thank you Cyanic and Serendipity7000 ! He definitely was very active last night. First night I’ve heard him running on his wheel so much.
I tend to agree that the big cage was a mistake. Too big, too soon. He had just left his smaller cage with 5 brothers and sisters, so being alone in the big world must have been scary.
It seems like he feels a lot more comfortable now. I’ll keep monitoring him and I too will be waiting for signs that he is ready for his bigger place.
