I guess the equivalent to the would be the Borneo - it has large front and top doors but is also very tall unfortunately. I don't know who makes the Alaska either - possibly Skyline?

If you download Skyline's catalogue it doesn't even list the Barney and Alexander, just the Kerry, Leon and Tilo (the Tilo is basically the Barney but isn't made any more). So it's possible they make the Alaska as well although it does seem very different. I think a lot of these things aren't sold under the actual manufacturer's name. For example the Borneo was sold as the Skyline Speedy Gonzales - same cage but with a different coloured base and an extra shelf.

I would also like to know who makes the Alaska! Maybe it’s made specially for Zooplus by an unknown manufacturer. I know the Alexander cage used to be called “The Big One”

Not sure who makes the Alaska but I don’t think it’s zooplus as I’ve seen it on various other european sites. Pink, white, and blue versions are also sold in singapore, and its the same base/bars as the prevue 528 sold in the US (prevue has different platform though).

The cage is gorgeous, and both of the set ups shown in this thread are fantastic! I don't have the space for a cage of that length but after seeing the final results I'm tempted to buy one and keep it stored in the shed for the future. <3

Yes, I agree, I have seen it used in Singapore a lot and also one other site in the UK, besides Zooplus. I just looked up the prevue as didn't realise it was the same as the Alaska, just got different clips and like you said the different platform.

If you look on prevues website, under hamster cages, you see in some of the horrible cages they also make, that it has the hamster head hide/house that comes with the Alaska

https://prevuepet.com/category/5101/hamster-cages

but still doesn't really answer who makes the alaska....

Well spotted. Yes the Prevue does seem to be the same cage as the Alaska. If you google Prevue pet cages it says they've been making pet cages since 1869, so maybe they make quite a few and they get marketed by other people.
