Is there a substitute for Plastikote?
Hi there,
I've recently bought the Skyline Alexander cage for my new hamster that I'm getting this Saturday. I've read on the forum that I have to use Plastikote for the wood levels and houses in the cage. But since I live in The Netherlands they don't sell the Plastikote Enamel paint here, only the spray and not even the clear one.
So I bought the small jar on Amazon and it costs me about €10 for this tiny jar!
At this moment I am painting the wooden levels, about 3 planks and my jar is about to finished already. And I have like 14 pieces left to paint 😒
So I was wondering of there's another substitute for Plastikote since it's so expensive and I didnt even get to paint all the wooden pieces!. I don't want to waste more money on a tiny jar.
Please help! Thanks beforehand!😊

Re: Is there a substitute for Plastikote?
I have only used Plastikote but I noticed that Rodipet sell something that they say is safe to paint wood with. The tin says 375 ml so sounds a bit bigger.
