New syrian cage
Hi all,
I just adopted a new syrian hamster and she's currently in my beloved roborovski's old cage, the zoozone 2. I never needed to mesh the top as she couldn't get near it. I don't have any hanging toys for patch yet but will I need to mesh the top? If so how on earth do I do it?
Thanks a lot

Re: New syrian cage
It's very easy to do, just get a sheet of mesh and use cable ties to attached it to the bars. You can cut it with a strong pair of scissors or cheap wire cutters.
I get my mesh in b&q but any hardware/DIY store will have it, usually in the gardening section. You want something with 1x1cm squares ideally, 1x2cm can work for a Syrian.
