Megazorb or Kaytee?
Hey everyone!
Been a while since I posted not that anyone actually cares!
Anyway, I'm doing a cage cleanout soon and am currently using white Kaytee clean and cosy with a sprinkling of camo for colour across the whole cage. For this new cleanout, I instantly went to buy Kaytee but the cheapness of Megazorb was just screaming my name! I prefer the look of Kaytee but Megazorb looks more natural, Kaytee is good for burrowing but I've never tried Megazorb. By saving some money with Megazorb I could buy several bags for more bedding depth, and even get my hammy a new foraging toy, which bedding do you prefer/ think I should get?

I've never tried kaytee, but i love megazorb as does Luna my hamster. You could try megazorb and if you don't like it you can always go back. but at least then you will know what you and your hamster prefer.

Re: Megazorb or Kaytee?
Ok, thank you!
I think I'll buy a bag of Megazorb and split the cage in half with Kaytee on one side and Megazorb on the other so I can see which he prefers and go with that one for the next cleaning, thanks.

Re: Megazorb or Kaytee?
I've used both but generally speaking use Megazorb in most of my cages as it works out to be that much more cost effective than Kaytee which only gets used in maternity or hospital cages.
I find that it can go a bit longer between clean outs than some paper based substrates or shavings and it seems to hold up to burrowing very well.
