Thanks so much. I ordered a Trixie one like you suggested but it’s lime green...not brown. If anyone asks the colour it’s fresh moss colored lime green - hahahaha!
I forgot to add in this thread that the box I took a picture of was actually not the first box I adjusted. The first box was exactly the same and when I finished cutting entrance and bottom section I put it down on the chair and turned away then promptly sat on it - hahahaha. My long suffering husband kindly went back to the shop to get another one after seeing my face sitting on the chair holding a squashed box.

LOL!!! Oh no, after all the effort you sat on it. Good idea to use a box and you can easily give it a natural look.

Re: House pictures please
Hi! I bought Skye the Trixie Leif labyrinth house; we had to remove the ramp and take the wall out of the middle compartment to give her enough space to move around in there, We had already put together a nest box for her and she still sleeps in her nest box as I think because it’s taller and she had built a big tall nest in there but she stores her food in the labyrinth house and goes to the toilet in there, I think she really likes the separate chambers and being out of sight! She’s a big Syrian and can get herself through all the holes in the house. We have the nest box and the house next to each other. She has a sand bath in the other corner of her cage which she loves! She is always in the sand
