Re: teddy's (revamped) bin cage thread
teddy also loves his whimzees! it’s hilarious they’re the same size as he is. and i do wish i could have done the mesh right away but i ended up spending more than i planned. i get paid thursday though. but i’m only scheduled one day for the next 2 weeks (i’m in high school so it’s just a part time job but i’m trying to save up). but as soon as i can i’m going to switch to mesh. hopefully within the next week. my moms leg is broken so she can’t drive so i can only go if i can get my grandpa to drive me. hence why i cant go to ikea yet . i will try to find a wooden house. i do like more natural looking stuff. the bright coloured bedding just isn’t my thing. i love the white.

Re: teddy's (revamped) bin cage thread
Same here. I like the natural look and so does my hamster. He's on his second wooden house because he outgrew his first one. They like them spacious to build a big nest with plain white strips of toilet paper for bedding. I did a cage clean today and my hamster is ever so busy this evening building a big nest. Quite amusing to watch him shovelling paper strips into his house.
I got him a coconut hut for his new cage and he just loves that coconut to sit in and munch seeds. They like round things and i'd recommend one. They don't cost much and make a nice addition.
Teddy is a lovely looking hamster.
