Pets at Home sells a tub for £3 which is the best price i've ever seen.

I’ve found the new TFF sand to be really coarse and dusty and none of my hamsters liked it tbh. I use kids play sand which is £3-£5 for 15kg, dust free, and non toxic.

My hamster just had his third sand bath upgrade. After two enamelled pie dishes in increasing sizes, i have now found a red and cream loaf tin with the perfect depth and length. He came out to investigate briefly, ate some more porridge, pouched some toilet paper strips and went back to his nest.
No doubt, he'll have fun tonight digging even deeper in the new, longer bath tub. Can't wait to watch him.

Is Charlie chinchilla sand considered safe?

My Pumpkin loves her sand bath. I use the Tiny Friends Farm Bathing Sand and always have. Recently, she has turned her bath into her litter tray after her most recent clean, but I think she does go in it for a roll so yeah. I would totally recommend it!!!
