Talking 100x100cm cage

Hey all.

Just wondering if anyone knows a good site for buying a 100x100cm cage?
I need to upgrade my cages.

Hi there. Which country are you in? The only 100 x100 cage I know of is a guinea pig cage which would need meshing due to the large bar spacing. Otherwise, it would be a diy cage. There are some large 120cm cages rather than 100cm square. And the large Eco Habitat is 115cm by 75cm which is big! But also very expensive.

This 120cm cage on Amazon Germany is good (they deliver to the Uk and Europe) - it is rather tall though so would need extra shelves to avoid fall risks.

A lot of people seem to be making the diy Linmon cage also - that is 100cm x 60cm. You might be able to adapt the idea to 100 x 100.

Similar to the Eco Habitat is this one if you prefer Barred cages - part cage, part tank. Also on Amazon.de but ships to Uk. Not cheap but it's a great cage. I would love one. 100 x 72.

You get a tank style base but the side and top doors you'd get on a cage.

The most popular cages on here are from Zooplus. The Alexander and Barney cages. I have the Barney which is 100cm by 54cm and a good size for a Syrian but that's about the biggest they sell in actual barred cages.

In the US there aren't any 100cm cages I think - I only know of 80 x 50 ones. So most people use 40 gallon breeder tanks (3 foot) or 75 gallon tanks (4 foot). OR make diy cages.

A 100x120cm Linnmon can be made by using two 100cm board side by side for the base and using the 120cm boards for the sides. Its a build I’ve been interested in for a while but just haven’t had the time.

I'm in the uk. I like the thought of making big cages but I have 3 hamsters so it's going to be a big jib.
Thanks all xx

Maybe take it look at Erin's Animals three level cage, I'd you have three to manage! You could probably make this from the Linnmon tables at 100x120 but it would be a proper bit of furniture!!
