LOL! Too late. He's back in his cage now, ate some sweetcorn, climbed on the swing to get some seeds, fell off and landed in the sandpit then stomped off in his house.

A wonderful way to spend an evening :3 Sounds like a success!

Of course now you get him a spot where he's allowed to dig he doesn't want to lol typical!

Oh yes, that's Henry all over. I removed his claypot peepot the other day because it stunk ( i scrubbed it daily) and replaced it with a glazed mug, but no, Henry sniffed and nibbled it then decided its not to his liking. The stinky pot smashed in the wind so now i need to go out and buy a new. Just as well i had measured it knowing fine how fussy this wee hamster can be. The Eco-earth wasn't a success so i put it in the houseplant pot he likes to climb into. The houseplant can't be poisonous because he's well and alive. What threat am i in. Oh yes, the playpen is a winner.
Advice to newbies who want to buy a wire pen:
I wouldn't get the P@H one because it comes as one unit.
The Trixie one is made from individual panels that join up easily so you can make a pen as big or small as you like.
Price is pretty much the same.
