Re: Hamster Cage Too Small?
Ha ha. Well it's a good size and I don't think there is a bigger cage available in the US without going to a tank. You can make a lot out of the size with set up though and use the roof and bars to attach things for enrichment. Do you have a photo of your set up? Most people don't put enough substrate in or provide a house that is big enough or dark inside - that makes a lot of difference to them settling.
I had a "roof run" in one of my cages where a rat tube was tied to the roof, leading from the shelf into a hanging rat sputnik. That gives a whole load more places to go and some variety.

Re: Hamster Cage Too Small?
I actually make that cage 617.5 square inches! Are we talking about the same Prevue cage?

Re: Hamster Cage Too Small?
I think I might have not done the dimensions right. I just got that of of Amazon (off of one of the reviews). However, I went to that link and, sure enough, it WAS my cage. I will post a picture soon of cage setup - once I get one! Thank you so much!!
