Faulty trixie wheel?
Hi, I ordered a 28cm trixie wheel and it came today, but it appears to be faulty, and is angled at a tilt so that the botrom of the wheel is in contact with the stand and therefore is noisy and harder for my hammie to run in. Is this a fault that anyone else has experienced and knows how to fix, or should I just return the wheel?

Re: Faulty trixie wheel?
It looks like the wheel isn't attached to the stand properly at the back. It may be broken if they won't fix together properly. I would send it back. Where did you get it from? If it was from Zooplus then email them and send the photo - they'll probably send you another one and tell you not to bother sending the old one back.

Re: Faulty trixie wheel?
I have the same issue with this wheel!! It doesn’t stop my hamster from running on it, she still can, but it’s not a smooth movement and I get worried that the extra ‘effort’ she has to put in to run on it makes her not want to run on it as much as she should! Have you found a solution to this? I’ve actually taken mine off it’s stand since I recently got a wire cage and its more prominent now, which is annoying as it’s too late to send it back, but I also don’t want it to be on the stand again so I’m probably going to have to buy a new one :/

Re: Faulty trixie wheel?
Yeah I've had a couple like that, more the bigger sizes than the small.
I think they just have batches where the plastic is warped slightly.
Buy them from amazon as makes it easier to return.
