did a bit of a cage clean - nest got filled in?
hey there,
i’ve just done a cleaning of my male syrian hamster Teddy’s cage. nothing major just removing some soiled bedding and the like. i took out his wheel as well to give it a wipe down and he makes his best behind his wheel (even though he has a hideout, idk why) and it got disrupted when i took the wheel out. is this okay? none of his food stash (which he keeps right next to where he sleeps) got moved. just the entrance kind of thing got filled in. will this stress him out too much?

I wouldn't worry about this. It won't take Teddy long to get things back the way he likes. When ever I spot clean my Maestro's pee area, I leave a small pile of white toilet tissue torn into strips outside his house. He can help himself to my peace offering and repair things inside how he likes!
