Full Aubiose Review?
I've been thinking about using Aubiose in the long future as I stocked up on Kaytee Clean & Cozy while Porton had their sale. I like the look of it as from what I've heard it's quite soft and you get a lot for your money. I haven't heard a lot from the absorbency or odour control so some reviews on that would be great.I've also heard that it has some spikey bits but also seen that these can be removed. Just wondering if this factor makes this substrate not recommended, is it possible to get an overall review from anyone with a final recommendation or no recommendation?
I realise that if I'm looking at Hemp substrates then I should go for Hugro but that C&C was a bit of a stretch and so is Hugro. Any other recommendations for beddings? I'm unsure about taking a chance on Megzorb for the high dust content and an odd odour.
I'm also looking at Aspen but can't find any brands that are safe can anyone link any?
I realise this thread is asking a lot, don't feel the need to answer everything
Thanks!

Re: Full Aubiose Review?
I had problems finding good aspen and still found it dusty and scratchy. So it wasn’t for us. I haven’t used aubiose - it’s hemp as well. It was very popular on here at one point but Fitch became more popular than Aubiose and Megazorb as people seemed to think they weren’t as good as before at that time. I would just go with Fitch Or a mix of Fitch and hemp.

Re: Full Aubiose Review?
I did a review of megazorb and aubiose a while back and I still use these. I don't think anything has changed with either product to be honest. I've not had any issues with smell in the megazorb for a long time and it is still great for burrowing.

Re: Full Aubiose Review?
I currently use aubiose as it's great value for money, has good odour control and isn't that dusty. The only downside is it does not hold tunnels very well so probably best to mix it with another substrate
