Default Is there a dangerous toys thread?

On the guinea pig forum they have a thread for people to post dangerous toys on to warn other people to not buy them. Is there a thread like that on here?

Not that I'm aware of I think the only threads are where people have mentioned a specific item, nothing all in one place.
If you have any doubts about something it's best to just ask before getting it.

I've found a new product on PetPlanet that I've not seen before and it's definitely not safe. am I allowed to make a post about it? I don't want to break any rules

I think it would be ok to warn people. Generally I say most items made for hamsters can be dangerous - with nails, or glue or too small. Unless they are tubes or tunnels rat sized for Syrians, or no nail houses.

You can't make a post about something you saw online unless you have evidence or personal experience of it being unsafe. Please contact the seller's customer services team with your concerns. There can be repercussions for yourself if you name and shame suppliers online therefore we have a rule that does not allow this. Your first port of call must be the manufacturer or supplier so that they can look in to your complaint. If you have had a bad experience with a product then make sure you send them pictures of what has happened and keep the item for return.
