Sand for a sand bath?
Hey everyone! So I’ve used the tiny friend farm bathing sand with all my hamster. When purchasing a recent batch as I had run out I realised the packaging was different but I thought nothing of it. When looking in YouTube I saw this video saying that tiny friend farm changed the formula so now it was more dust like. This worried me so just to be safe I want to know what sand I could use instead. Could I use the Argos children’s play sand and cook it in the oven? Thank you for any reply’s

Re: Sand for a sand bath?
The new Tiny friends farm sand is safe to use, there does seem to be a problem with it in the US but here in the UK it's still ok to use, it isn't as good as it was though so if you do want to change that play sand is fine to use.

Re: Sand for a sand bath?
Argos play sand is safe, its the sand I use. I recommend switching to play sand, its much softer than the new Tiny Friends sand and far more cost-effective.
