Default Sterilising sand?

So I was going to get the Argos sand but now going to get the Tesco's Carousel Lets Play Outside sand so I can get it on my weekly shop. I hope this is okay to use

My question is: What temp do you guys sterilise your sand at? I've only found threads that use Fahrenheit in the HH forum and boiling sand here. However, I may be looking in the wrong threads or topics. My plan is to cook the sand in the oven and then sifting it.

How long do you leave the sand in for? What temp? And finally, is it okay just to do it on a sheet of foil laid out over the tray?

Thanks, everyone!

I haven't done it myself but think it's about 20 minutes at 200C, if you can find some other threads here giving the temp in fahrenheit it's easy enough to find a convertor with google.
Any tray or dish lined with foil is fine, you don't want it to be deep or it won't dry properly.

I heat mine at 130C for 30 minutes or until its dry. The temperature needs to be atleast 75C for 30 minutes to kill the bacteria but most play sand in the UK has already gone through a similar cleaning process since it’s made for children so there’s not really any health risks with using non-heated sand, it’s just an extra precaution really.

Thanks for the advice. cypher thanks for the Fahrenheit to Celcius conversion idea because my stupid head didn't think of that

alpacassei thanks for the minimum 75 degrees help I was really struggling with sterilising sand since I've always used commercial sand so this is a new first time experience to me
