Detolf help!
So I was watching HammyLux's vlog where she gets a Detolf to try and give me more info on the cage before I buy it myself. While she was pulling one of the boxes out, one of the glass shelves just randomly smashed. Is this uncommon? I'm concerned because I don't want to have the Detolf and have the glass randomly break.
Also, I've been planning to put aquarium silicone on the outside edges of the Detolf to give it more support against the bedding however, Pam mentioned that the Detolf comes with these plastic rims that protect the cage just fine, are these okay? I'm confused.

Re: Smashing Detolf?
Just be carefull with it when you tip it on its back There is no need to put the shelves in so no need to take them out again. You just assemble it without the shelves and door and tip it on it's back - then its ready for the lid. I think most people just do this and don't use any sealant etc. It is made of safety glass so shouldn't break easily.
