How much Plastikote for Alexander cage?

I want to plastikote all of the shelves and houses that come with the Alexander but it’s been a while since I’ve used Plastikote so I’m struggling to estimate how much I’ll need. Is one jar enough?

I haven't painted that much in one go so it is a bit hard to estimate but I would guess probably more than one jar.

Hi .. I have some things I'd like to paint as well but the only Plastikote I can find is a spray paint and I get the feeling that whenever you discuss this on the forum its something else. Is the brand name really plastikote or is that just what you call it and its made by someone else?

RJS Plastikote make a large range of paints & sprays but the only safe one is the water based enamel which looks like this or various other colours but only this type of paint & I'm not sure if you can get it in Canada or not.

Thanks cypher .. as I expected its completely different from what I can find. Same brand though which is kind of interesting. At least I know what I'm looking for now. Thanks Much

I would say get 3 of the small bottles as it may need just over 2. I easily did two coats on a shelf and house with one bottle. The enamel paint that goes on with a brush is water based and virtually odourless and very quick to paint on. I wouldn’t use the spray one.
