Default wood

hi!!
iím thinking of adding a bit of wood for my hamster to climb on, but i donít know what type of wood. would getting aquarium or reptile wood be okay?

Grapevine and java wood are probably the best. Cork tunnels too but freeze those for a bit before using. You can also use bamboo root if you find that in the reptile section. I'd stay away from mopani as that needs soaking multiple times for ages to remove the tannins from it.

I agree with mangoandmimi. I also use drift wood. My hamster especially loves his cork tunnel when I buried it in his bedding. I also like grape and java wood.
