Thanks for that, all of you. Feeling much better. I just got a bit wobbly and worried about the whole toileting thing. My last few hammies were Syrians an it's much easier to find their pee spots!

And Pazzie, it's been out of stock in big bundles for a good few weeks and is so expensive in the smaller ones. If it's not back soon I'm going for Kaytee clean and cosy next. Only heard good things so far!

Thanks cypher. Looks like a huge bag too. I think Kaytee Clean and Cosy is best for me. But it’s good to know about this Fitch bedding too.

I tried lots of different sorts but settled on the German fave of aspen bedding, found in the reptile aisle. Holds its shape for burrows, very low dust and safe for hams. Mine have loved it. Nice to sprinkly herbs / hay through for colour, too, and pretty soft on little feet (though admittdly not as soft as Carefresh).

I use and recommend Aubiose Hemp bedding! It’s £20 for 20kg and you can get it on Amazon. It has great odour control and I absolutely love it
