Best Cage Bargains?
What’s the best deal you’ve gotten on a hamster cage?
I think for me, it’s when I got my secondhand Savic Ruffy for £20 and in excellent condition!

Not a hamster cage but part of one. As you know, you need a stand for the IKEA Detolf so, I chosen the IKEA KALLAX unit. I got it for just $15!

Re: Best Cage Bargains?
I have got on eBay the Ferplast Mary cage alongside the Ferplast Jenny for around £27. At the time of purchasing if I was to have bought both these cages from p@h it would have cost me £170. The cages were in excellent condition - i’m using the Mary for my Russian and have stored the Jenny away for when I get rats in the future.
Plus the IKEA Stuva Frame I used to build my DIY cage was reduced in IKEA from £30 to £10.

Part of a cage here as well. A new base for my Savic Mickey 2XL for £12. It's actually an 80 x 50 Ferplast base but fits perfectly (Miscota still sells it if anyone interested!).

Re: Best Cage Bargains?
Two cages for free Ive got the ferplast jenny for Annie who loves to climb and a ferplast furat plus (I think) for Simon. Both off sphock.
Ideally i'm after an alexander or barney but unfortunately they don't come up for free or even cheap very often.
There's a nice thick layer of bedding on the bottom and several hammocks/shelves so if they fall its not far, although pretty sure Annie practices yoga in her spare time as she is very agile and bendy when shes moving about the cage

Re: Best Cage Bargains?
I've managed to get a fair few Mini Duna type cages for free off of people I know from the hamster club and they're often a cage that I use as a good starting point for Chinese.
I've also managed to get a Duna Multi and some accessories for free off of someone from HC a couple of years ago, a Hamster Heaven for £10 from a former hamster club member and a large Perfecto-type tank for £10 off of another hamster club member.
