Default Introducing a new hamster

Hello. I know this is not related to cages and stuffs but i just want to ask,
How do you introduce another dwarf hamster to one another? I have a single dwarf hamster named Rin and im going to adopt another dwarf hamster since my friend cannot take care of his hamster anymore.
Rin's cage is a 2 feetx2feet diy cage so theyll have a lot of space to explore.
Any tips will be appreciated

Ps. My friend will give his hamster tomorrow so i need quick replies

Definitely not a good idea to introduce two dwarf hams together. Pairs often don't work out anyway, and that's with litter mates that have never been separated. You'd be taking a huge risk and putting both hams in a lot of danger by introducing them, they're very likely to fight potentially to death.

Rin is quite happy alone. Hamsters aren't really social animals and are better off alone really. If you are going to take on another hamster you will need a separate cage and the hamsters should never be introduced at any point - this includes no joint playtime or handling together.

Alright. Ill try to talk to my friend and also i dont have spare wheel to place inside the cage so i guess ill have lots of reason to decline adopting his hamster
