Playpen base recommendations
Hi guys
I have a play pen for my Syrian boy that I made from plastic shelving panels and zip ties that works pretty well, but the trouble is I don’t know what to put it on top of as a base. I have used and old fleece blanket up to now but all he does is chew it at the corners and I’m worried if he swallows the fibres it will do him harm. I thought maybe a plastic groundsheet would be better? But again I’m worried about chewing. I can’t get hold of a piece or pieces of cardboard big enough.
I’m wondering what you all do for play pen bases?
Thanks!

Re: Playpen base recommendations
You could do a waterproof towel and then a little bit of bedding over it.

Re: Playpen base recommendations
You could try something like an old sheet or duvet cover, something that's smooth & less likely to attract chewing, otherwise it might be worth hunting around shops & supermarkets to see if you can find any cardboard boxes you could use.

Mine is cardboard covered in towels or fleece but my ham doesn't chew. You might have to use cardboard. Mime came from some huge boxes a neighbour was throwing out.
