Default Flying saucer wheel for Syrian hammie

I'm currently searching for new toys for my Syrian Hamster.. I already have a wheel for her but I've been considering the flying saucer wheel as a new toy.. I was wondering if this is ok for Syrian's? And also how is the noise? Is it quieter? Thank you in advance!

Yes they are okay for Syrians as long as you get a 12” one - not the regular size. That size is quite enormous so you probably wouldn’t want it in the cage, but it would be fine in a playpen. I’ve not used a large silent spinner before but I’ve heard it’s quiet - the regular ones are definitely quiet anyway.

Yeah, I have a 12" one and my hammie likes it more than the regular wheel. I prefer it, and it is much quieter.
