Re: Is this cage any good pls?
It could be to tall. Hamsters will likely climb up the side, but they are not good at climbing down,so they jump and this can cause the hamster to be injured.
Zoo plus has the Barney cage, Alexander cage or the Alaska cage. These cages are good size, but not so tall and are also a similar price to the cage in the link you posted.

Re: Is this cage any good pls?
50cm is considered tall for a hamster cage so 70cm would be too tall with a big risk of falls & accidents happening.
The cages CMB mentioned (available here) are good options, there's also the savic plaza from P@H.

Re: Is this cage any good pls?
As both CMB and cypher mentioned the cage is fairly tall so there are greater fall risks. Although it could be modified with attaching acrylic around the bottom of the wire bars to enable deeper bedding plus it will reduce the overall height.
Although I would recommend looking at Zooplus at the Barney or on the P@H website at the Savic Plaza

I would contact them & see if you can return it, you should be able to.

I think when you purchase online they need to allow you 14 days to return if not suitable. I would just ask them if you can send it back via the courier. Don't even open the box

Re: Is this cage any good pls?
Thank goodness it was delivered damaged so being returned, yes it was far to tall. So now plan B. I want something in neutral/ natural colours to match my living room. I hate all the bright garish colours.

Re: Is this cage any good pls?
That was lucky!
If you don't want bright colours then the Savic Plaza is probably your best bet, not many good cages come in neutral colours I don't think.
