Question Future bin cage upgrade

I have a 8-10 week old Syrian which is just settling in to her new home in a bin cage I made for her. I mistakenly made a cage too small as I measured the lid size not the bottom size. The floor size is 40cmx30cm as you can see in the photo. As she is still fairly small, I don’t believe the size of the cage is a problem at the minute and don’t want to disturb her right as she is settling in, but I would like to make her a larger cage in the future.

When is it okay to change a hamsters cage? Should I wait until she outgrows this one?

Also, where have other people bought their bins from and what size do you feel is appropriate/healthy for an adult Syrian?

Thanks!
