It works. But why not just use a cardboard box without a base and side cut open for the door? Cheaper and more fun to chew on. I use cereal boxes for my dwarf.

That one looks very nice! Like Razor said, you can make toys and chews for free! Tissue boxes make great chews and hides. My ham likes to shred the cardboard for nesting material.

I would say that's a bit on the small side, I would go with something at least 15x15cm * preferably without windows like that one, the house should be dark inside!
