New wheel type
After Mango had her litter she seems to have grown quite a lot so we decided to get her a new wheel. As she is in a tank type cage this is not as high as other types so we were restricted in the height of the wheel we could fit in. I came across 'Hogs on Wheels' which is a chap who hand makes wheels for pygmy hedgehogs really but he was offering a 10in and a 12inch wheel and an appropriate height (and price) (14.99) I ordered the 10inch for Mango and it is plenty big enough and she is a big hamster at 220g. It's very quiet and stable and is actually made out of a bowl so it is nice and wide. I don't think it would suit a very chewie hamster. You can find him on Facebook or ebay just in case anyone was interested.

Re: New wheel type
That looks interesting. I love the silent runner but this looks good. Cheaper too!

Re: New wheel type
Looks nice! Quite a good price as well! It reminds me of the Carolina storm wheels we have around here. Do you have a top/side view by any chance?

Re: New wheel type
That looks good soufflé. Being a “tank girl” myself, the height of wheels on their stands is always an issue and can be a bit restricting. It looks pretty funky too.

This was an element I’d completely forgotten! Typical me lol!
Do these ship to the US I wonder? I suppose I should pay their website a visit.
