Post Syrian Hamster cage

I have recently gotten a new cage for my hamsters.

My plan was to give it to my more hyper hamster as she loves to run and climb a lot. the cage has two levels so I thought this would be perfect. The floor space on each floor is pretty big two

.

The cage is a two-level dollhouse. Each floor is 69x40 cm. I was wondering I this was okay for a Syrian.
or even if it would be okay to make each floor separate cages for both my Syrians.
so the hamsters will be separated but just in the same dollhouse.

if one-floor isn't big enough (69x40) then I will give the whole dols house to one hamster and get something different for the other

Thank you

Unfortunately the dolls house isn't really suitable for a hamster, the floor space isn't really enough for a syrian, they do best with something around 100x50cm, all on one level, you wouldn't be able to put a deep layer of substrate in without it falling out, even if you blocked the mesh off I'm not sure it would be high enough for either a good deep layer of substrate with a house on top of the substrate or for a large enough wheel.
It's not advisable to have two hamsters in one divided cage like that even if it was suitable otherwise, they would still be aware of each other which could cause problems, being wood it could be chewed through too.
I would look for a more suitable cage for each of your syrians & not use this at all tbh.
If you need any suggestions on the best cages let us know which country you're in & someone may be able to help.

It's not a suitable cage for a hamster I'm afraid. The wood will get chewed and also very wet and smelly with wee. It looks very easy to escape from as well and the electrics in the roof are worrying in case your hamster chews in to those and eats the plastic and wire (even if they are not connected)
As said above it is also too small for one never mind two hamsters.

I agree with everything both cypher and souffle have said. As this dollhouse will not suitable for your hamster/s to live in. From my experience of owning Syrian hamster the cage won’t provide sufficient floor space to provide plenty of necessary enrichment or even be secure enough.

If you don’t mind sharing what country you live in, we are more than happy to assist you in find a more suitable cage for both your hamsters.

Also welcome to HC.
