hamster playpen options.

hey all ,
im looking for a good playpen for toffee, (my syrian) and ive looked online and i like this wire one:

upon thurther inspection it appears that syrians can actual climb the bars ang get over.
at the mo im using two cardboard boxes as a playpen but these are taking up alot of space and I am wanting to upgrade.

so im looking for a playpen that is fabric and no hamster can get out. any ideas :]

Yes I believe that metal one is ok for dwarf hamsters but not Syrians. For a long time I had a home-made one - A3 sheets of Correx/Coroplast (plasticised corrugated cardboard) held together will bulldog clips. It folded away when not in use and could be made into any shape or size. However it got pretty manky and was not escape-proof! It needed very careful supervision.

I currently have this one - it's a great playpen and very good for Syrians. You can also take it apart to put away, but the fasteners at corners look like they could break if taken apart a lot. It's not cheap but my corropast sheets cost the same!

I have the metal one & it is only suitable for dwarf hams.
I also made one with four sheets of correx, I made a hole in the corner of each sheet fixed with cable ties & it then folds flat when not in use, correx isn't cheap though.
The other options for a syrian are the stylish playpen made out of storage cubes.
