Smelly smelly smelly!
So my big boy boris is doing well he loves his cuddles and time out of cage and enjoys nothing but to find a spot and sleep! He is an amazing rescue! BUT the only problem I have is that his cage smells!! I use a mixture of carefresh and fitch and he has loads of it! He doesn’t have one pee sit sometimes he pees in a corner sometimes on both wheels sometimes in his sand pit sometimes in his house list is endless!
He is in a detolf cage and I don’t do a big clean only every 1-2 months as I know this can affect it I spot clean which is so tricky!! As he goes everywhere! He doesn’t smell I’ve given him a good smell! Any ideas help please!! For my Pongy boy!

Re: Smelly smelly smelly!
Sometimes older hamsters do wee more as their kidneys weaken. It might be an idea to test his urine though for sugar or an infection if the smell is persisting and seems not normal to you.
