Noisy Hamster Wheel

Hiya!
I bought the Trixie Excerise Wheel for my new hamster, Puff, and it’s been working great with little to no problems at all. The first night I heard no noise whatsoever. It’s only recently where I’ve been hearing a banging sound coming from the wheel whenever Puff uses it. It does tend to keep me up and I would love for it to stop What happens is that when Puff is using it, the wheel bangs against the stand behind it. I’ve tried numerous things such as attaching the wheel to the cage, putting some toilet paper between it and such but either it doesn’t work or it makes the wheel harder to use for my hammy (I can hear Puff’s claws scratching as she’s trying to run, indicating that it’s difficult for her to use). I was hoping someone could suggest anything to stop it, such as any safe materials to use in between the stand and the wheel.

I hope you find a solution! Have you made sure everything is all together properly? Maybe take it apart and have a look. Double check middle metal rod is in correctly. It's possible it could be broken?

You could contact the people you got it from and ask or a possible replacement?

I’m positive that it’s nothing to do with any malfunction or errors. Whilst Puff is using the wheel the wheel is banging against the stand behind it. I’m looking for any suggestions on how to prevent that, such as using a safe material in between them.
