Re: NurturePro Tofu Cat Litter--is this safe for hamsters?
If you use tissues you wont need to change it all daily but just the area she using as her toilet. It may become a little time consuming tearing up enough tissue to make a good depth of bedding though.
Regarding the pine cat pellet it will depend upon brand and also if anything else has been added to them. Can you get paper based cat little pellets in the Philippines? As these would be better than pine pellets and are safe to use for hamsters if these are safe.
Do you have a link to a pet website in the Philippines which you can order from? As we maybe able to look through it to see if their is any suitable substrate - either cat litter or a small pet bedding that you could use.

Well Koochi, I've found something. I was fortunate enough to find this, https://www.ilovemypets.ph/index.php...egory&path=273
There's a Chipsi Brand there and it seems to be a better option as it's spruce and pine I think, I used it once and I don't think I've had a problem with my Hamster using it.

Re: NurturePro Tofu Cat Litter--is this safe for hamsters?
Thank you so much for the link, Hellobg! The chipsi organic is currently out of stock. But in the same site, i saw another cheaper bedding called Emily Pets Premium Wood Flakes Organic. I checked on the specs and it says:
"Emily pets Wood shaving is designed to provide superior odor control, and comes from 100% white silver birch."
Is white silver birch safe for Kooch?

Birch wood is safe but it could still be dusty.
