Acrylic terrarium like HammyLux's in the UK
I've been watching HammyLux's channel on youtube for a while now and I love her acrylic terrarium cage, however, I am in the UK and they don't ship them here and I can't find anything similar online? Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find one?
For those of you who haven't seen HammyLux's videos, this is what her cage looks like. It's a similar size to a 40gallon tank.

I unfortunately don’t know of anyone in the UK who makes or sells a cage like Hammylux’s acrylic terrarium. You could try looking at reptile terrariums although made of glass they are fairly similar in design however can be really expensive for a suitably sized cage.
However the Living World Eco Green Cage that HammyLux also has is available in the Uk on Zooplus.

I don't think they make one in the Uk. I once had a quote for having an acrylic tank made and it was astronomically expensive! But you could probably make one yourself. A terrarium is better though as it has front doors. I think there might be a place in Germany that sells something like that (a German member linked a site once) but I can't remember it. And not sure if they'd ship to the Uk anyway. You might be able to get one shipped from the US but I think the shipping would be expensive. To be honest I'd be concerned about ventilation with that terrarium. The panel on top isn't very big and there's no other ventilation.

Re: Acrylic terrarium like HammyLux's in the UK
My acrylic just arrived and I'm going to put together this Sunday a 1500 square inch tank with 1/4 inch acrylic that will measure 55x28x18 inches. Cost will be around $300. It's more expensive than a wood DIY but for me it seemed more simple and I hope it will look better. It basically involves having a shop cut the acrylic for you, then you just piece it together with tape and then squirt solvent cement between the edges and the solvent evaporates in a few minutes and leaves you with a fused tank. Check out the DIY acrylic aquarium videos on Youtube if you are interested. It seems rather simple. Someone might be able to get the costs down a bit by going with thinner acrylic. I was considering 1/8 inch thick acrylic but I didn't want to do all the work and have the thing crack.

That sounds pretty straight forward quisp65! would definitely like to see some pics when you are finished. Are you planning on having a lid and if so what are you doing about doors and ventilation?

It's just going to be like an aquarium with a big open top. I'll probably make a screen top later because I get a bit paranoid without one, but it's adequate without one.
