Cage help

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a cage that is 360 square inches or more.

I've found the Skyline Ted Cage but I want to see the other options since I might travel to another country for a vacation and I want to bring my little Toria and Teo with me.

Any suggestions for a 360 square inches cage.

If you want something that small for a temporary cage you might do better to just make a bin cage.

I'm aware of bin cages, but I was looking for wired cages that can fit into luggages.

I chose the Skyline Ted after looking round the options - not too big,not too small, has a good built in house which helps free up floor space and plenty of room for a nest and litter tray.Fits a 10" and some 11" wheels. The top lifts off easily even the doors are small and on top.

There is also the standard duna multy which nests well but would only fit an 8" wheel, or the Ferplast Kios but that's a bit smaller and would also only fit an 8" wheel. Or the Grosvenor cage which is slightly bigger and folds flat and would fit an 11" wheel, but to be honest i found it much more space saving to pack a cage like the ted with the bars and base nested together, than to fit a cage folded flat into the car. I've also heard the Grosvenor can be a bit of a pig to put together and take apart.

I was also recommended the Savic Cambridge cage, which is smaller but taller but thought it would actually be harder to pack as a travel cage due to the height of the bars.

Here are some photos of the Ted when our Syrian was in it on holiday. Some show how it nests together. The 11" green trixie wheel shown didn't actually quite fit without rubbing the top and getting wedged, so I used a different 11" wheel" wodent wheel would fit. Although the cage is just tall enough for the trixie wheel it has a slight hump in the base that reduces the height in some areas hence the wheel didn't quite fit without it being at one end.

Thank you so much Serendipity! Is it worth buying the Skyline Ted? It's quite expensive now in Amazon (DE). But I'll look into the Ferplast Duna Multy. As for the Kios, I was actually planning on that but I have to measure my luggage first.

Is it for a Syrian or a dwarf hamster? If it's for a dwarf the height isn't so important. I know what you mean it was about £45 for the Ted which I balked at. It's actually being sold for £35 on Amazon Uk - would that be an option? Or would the postage make it just the same price as in Germany? I think it's a really nice cage. There's not much in it between the kios and the Ted. The Ted is 67cm by 45cm and the Kios is 70cm by 47cm (but the base slopes in a lot on it). The Ted is 35cm tall (max - more like 33cm internally) and the Kios 28cm tall.

It's for my Dwarf Hamsters @.@ Teo and Toria, well not together but they're going to share it in our vacation (by share I meant they take turns.) As for the Duna Multy, it is sold in Switzerland and Amazon DE. I want your opinion on the two Serendipity, which is better? Kios or Ted?

There is this - Savic Stuart. It's quite small really - might be ok for one shy dwarf hamster if you could let them out a lot while on holiday!

Thanks a lot, but I won't be bringing quite a ton of things if I'll bring a cage, since I'll need room for my clothes as well. The cage seems nice but kind of small. I really need something between the Ted and Kios, which I'm thinking which to get.
Both Toria and Teo are pretty energetic, though they don't get along with each other.

How are you planning to keep your hamsters when not in the cage if they're going to take turns hellobg? Apart from when travelling & they need to be in a carrier each hamster will need to be in a cage with it's own substrate, toys, wheel etc while you're on holiday so you need two cages really.
