Best Housing for Chinese Hamster

Having been in a pet store today and fallen in love with the chinese hamsters I have decided they are the hamster for me and I am looking to get one sometime in the new year.

But I have read they can squeeze through the bars of most cages so I am wondering what people suggest as the best housing for them.

The duna type plastic tanks are ideal. About £30 from P@H. We have our boy in a perfecto type glass aquarium and he seems happy in that.

I have mine in a under bed storage box with large holes drilled in for ventilation (sides at the top and in the lid. I am planning on adding a mesh front too. I started with a 30cm by 60 cm one that is available in tesco etc. But Iw ent to IKEA and bought a 60cm by 90cm one that I am going to join together.
