Question Dwarf Toys?

I've noticed that recently our campbells has started hanging on the bars of his cage. He lives in a ferplast mini duna, so the bars are on the roof and when he hangs on them he falls off and i'm worried he will hurt himself.

As he seems a bit more active ( we suspect hes diabetic) we are thinking of getting him some more involved toys, stuff to climb on a bit higher, hanging ladders and such but just wondered if they will be okay for him?

I'd hate to buy him them and have him fall and hurt himself

What toys do you all have for your dwarfies? x

I wouldn't worry too much as dwarf hamsters always seem quite bouncy! Has your hammy got a flying saucer as that is my russian dwarf's favourite toy ever! He doesn't really have any hanging stuff as he's in an imac fantasy cage so doesn't have the bars on the top to hang stuff from, but he does have some puzzle playground creations which he loves! You could also give your hammy a sandpit as they love to roll in it!

If you are scared about him falling maybe you could get him a hamster hammock and position it halfway between the bottom of the cage and the top to cushion his fall a bit

My hamsters (robos) particularly love a cardboard cup holder from Starbucks. I tore all the holes slightly so they can easily get out of them, then turn it upside down. It's a nice little hidey place/toy for them. Otherwise, they like the flying saucer too, cardboard tubes - the simple stuff tends to work best.
