Default Painted Ferplast House

ferplast.jpg

I finally got round to painting Lil's wooden Ferplast house and i'm pretty pleased with the end result.

As some of you may know, Lil has shown little interest in it until this afternoon - I caught her snoozing in it this afternoon

I'm sure the fact it coincides with the redecoration is a complete coincidence, but it still put a big smile on my face!

Looks great! Glad to hear she's using it now. How's Lil been as of late?

Lil's house looks great - it also looks lovely in her cage.
Sounds like Lil approved of her painted house to - it must have been lovely seeing her sleeping in it!

That plastkote paint looks great. Do you think you can use it on older wooden shelves?

Ruth as long as the wood is dry & reasonably clean then it would be fine to paint.

I'm sure it was the fab paint job which enticed her in. I read somewhere that people selling their houses often use yellow decorations because the colour yellow is meant to attract people to buy things. Maybe it worked with Lil too

Drago - Lil has been well, thanks so glad to see her nesting in her house instead of her cramped tube. She is a happy lady who enjoys lots of time exploring out of her cage each evening (and puts up with a camera being shoved in her face once in a while )

Ruth Edwards - I agree with Cypher. It should be absolutely fine.

AprilPearl - How fascinating! I'm a big fan of yellow and only realised after I finished painting the house that I was wearing a jumper the exact same shade of yellow

It looks lovely, what a nice summery colour. I'm glad Lil is enjoying it now after your hard work

I have some little wooden houses and I bought some tester pots of the cuprinol garden shades but still haven't got round to it. Since you did such a fantastic job maybe I should get you to paint mine too

Thanks BorisPasha

I would gladly paint them for you, if only you were a little closer!
