Default Suitable Toilets

I was very lucky with my Gimli that I never had to toilet train him, the first day I put him in the cage he decided it was his toilet. However he's getting a lot bigger and I'm worried he is out growing it, do any of you have suggestions on a suitable toilet for a largeish Syrian. Right now he is using the Savic hamster toilet.
Thanks for any help

Sorry if this is in the wrong place!

We buy a ceramic oven to table white dish from wilcos and use these as potties. They are around 8in x6 in and a good size for a syrian. All out hams use theirs

My Syrian boy has used the Savic toilet very happily for all of his life. He is now well over 2 years old. He never grew bigger than about 170 gms. If your boy is bigger than that, I would follow Soufflé's advice.

I like the sound of soufflé's ceramic dishes. I use either a glass biscuit jar or a covered bird bath (one for a budgie cage). I personally quite like them being a bit enclosed - especially as Pip, my Syrian boy pees up and over open trays!

I have a plastic corner litter tray designed for rats and ferrets. Might be a bit big depending on your cage though.

At the moment Gimli is about 150g and is maybe 10/12 weeks old. I'll have a look at covered bird baths because I think he likes the coverage (it's his go to when he's been spooked).
Thanks for all the suggestions

This is the one I'm currently using - but I didn't get it from here so no idea what this site is like. I picked mine up in a local pet store.

A chinchilla sand bath could be used as a hamster toilet. They are a metal tray/bowl. You may need to add a bandy bridge or something to make it easier for your hamster to get in and out.
