Default Syrian cage?

Would a 101 cm L x 54.6 cm W x 45.4 cm H bin be big enough for a Syrian?

Hello Sukirutski,
the base is definitely big enough, but I'm not sure about the heigh. Hamsters like digging, so the heigh of the bedding should be round about 20cm. I think it's okay when you use less bedding in the area of the hamster wheel (it should have a diameter of 27cm).

Sorry for my worse english and have fun with your hamster

regards, Kathi

That sounds like a nice sized bin. Could you post details of where you can get it and price, as it would be useful to other members here who live in the USA and are looking to buy a large bin.

Are those internal or external measurements? Some bins slope in at the bottom making them smaller than they seem.
