Maui's "Underwater" Theme Tank
Hey Everyone! *I'm new to hamsters and new to this site! I have been working on Maui's tank for a while and I finally have my "Underwater Theme" ready! *Thought I would share on here. *Maui is in a 40-gallon tank with toys and accessories from Petco, PetSmart and Goodwill! *I had some awesome ceramic finds today.

Hello and welcome to HC!
You're setup is looking beautiful, nice work. The only thing I could possibly suggest would be to add a bit more bedding  Syrians love to burrow! I am sure Maui must be loving her setup

I'm seriously re thinking all of my life decisions because my hamsters cages don't have a big duck in them...
Cage looks so lovely.

Your theme cage is ok.
Home shredded paper can be sharp and possibly cause cuts on the hamster. A shop bought paper based substrate would be better.
You could have more hides, tubes, things to climb on and a digging area with extra deep substrate.
A platform is a nice addition than hamsters seem to enjoy.

Your theme cage is absolutely adorable! I love it and I'm sure Maui is loving it too!
It really warmed my heart, it is definitely very creative and cute!
