Default Playpens

Looks like that wood playpen I have is still available and being sold by Happy Henry homes. Except it's double the price I paid! It used to be sold by Zooplus but not any more. It's an excellent playpen though, I've been using it for years.

It looks the same - but there is a slight difference. Mine has door cut outs in the side. They're filled in rather than cut out, but the option is there to pop them out to make a door entrance (which I haven't done, I prefer it solid).

I considered buying that but thought it cost too much. Lol.

It is expensive. I thought £25 was expensive when I bought mine. Which is virtually identical.

The owner of the site makes all the items himself and he designed them too. I wonder if he knows there was a similar playpen around.

It looks virtually identical - even to the patterned grooves on the outside - the only difference is the patterned grooves are a slightly different pattern. Maybe the owner got the idea elsewhere - that often happens. Lots of people make labyrinth houses too - they probably have to make them slightly different design so as not to infringe on intellectual property rights or something.

I think Rodipet led the way, and others copied, but my playpen wasn't Rodipet - no idea who made it - probably German though as it was from Zooplus.

That would make sense. One thing I really like about that company is the wood is all ethically sourced.
