This is "Myhammie Beach"! It is my summer themed cage. It was originally intended for my Syrian, Butters, but my new dwarf ended up in it I have summer's off and I really enjoy DIY. This was a ton of fun to create! The lighthouse came out immediately after pictures (before anyone lived in this cage) as it was not hammy safe.

Recently just bought a pair of Mini Duna cages for Donny and Leo (Leo in the left munching away.) Annoyed though when the cages arrived that they didn't have their cage clips or lid fasteners so currently using bulldog clips and paper weights to secure the cages whilst I wait for a reply from the people I bought them from via Amazon :/

I bought the large Living World Eco Habitat back in August for our newly adopted winter white hybrid lass, Sterling.

After a heck of a lot of chaos with moving her from where she was with me in uni to back to the mothership due to an unexpected schedule change,
I finally got around to settling her back in again.

I don't know if it's noticeable much in photos, but this cage does bow when put
under pressure from deep substrate. A little annoying, but nothing a little wood couldn't solve.

& the lovely Sterling herself:

*I'm also insanely sorry if this stretches the screen. It's showing up stretched on my laptop right now in preview. I'm not used to this forums layout
at all and find it a tad complicated because i'm too used to others - I've messed around with it a bit and just can't seem to solve the issue D:

Hey, I know i'm late, but I wanted to buy this for my Roborovski Hammy and I was wondering, if you have problem with wooden bottom? My girl likes to pee in places she shouldn't, also I am buying multiple bottles that keep leaking.. I am wondering is it realistic to protect the wood from rotting?

What about lining it with a hemp mat? A selection here:

I recently added more bedding so it has about 8 inches of bedding now but I don't have a more recent picture.
