Smile Damp hamster sand

Hello! We bought some play sand and it has already been treated and everything killed etc...but it's still a little damp...is this okay for the hamster in a bowl to go crazy in or does it need to be completely dry?

Default Re: Damp hamster sand

I would only put it in if it's 100% dry. Otherwise it won't be helping their fur at all, and it will be difficult to distinguish between peed on sand and just wet sand. Just give it a little longer to dry out
